  • With 100K+devices on field and with constant demand on new features along with fixing customer reported issues, it was a challenge for the client to validate, verify, and enhance those devices. They wanted to automate and streamline testing process by achieving maximum automation to test safety device firmware and mobile application (Android, iOS) with reduced efforts and time
  • Client also wanted to shorten mass production timeline by automating post-manufacturing test process per unit to achieve faster time to market

  • Support to add multiple devices within the automation framework that reduced the verification time and increased coverage
  • Developed the test jigs for radio module and EOL testing at client’s factory to help understand if the unit is passing all the test criteria
    • Ability to program 12 micro-controllers and 12 RF modules simultaneously
    • Peripheral interface testing and sending the result to testing boards
    • GUI Utility for PCBA test fixture to enable flashing of the module, start the test and visualize the test results
    • Enabled test mode on the enclosed device
    • Monitor Z-Wave messages on Z-Wave hub for testing
    • LED based indication for Pass/Fail result
    • Test control commands from the Z-Wave module (placed on the enclosed device) to Z-Wave hub
    • Upload test results and export test database to the local area network server
