VOLANSYS Technologies, with a strong reputation for its innovative approach in the emerging space of IoT solutions and applications, participated in Electronica, Germany 2016. This event, one of the largest trade fairs in the industry dealing with electronics and showcasing the latest technologies related to the electronics from the top most companies was held from 8th to 11th Nov 2016. VOLANSYS was present at NXP’s booth in Hall A6-107.

About the NXP Modular IoT Gateway and Edge Platform

The NXP Modular IoT Gateway uses the NXP i.MX6UL ARM® Cortex® A-7 based processor with support for ZigBee and Thread. Additional connectivity support is planned for Q12017 leveraging the mikroBUS compatible connector modular hardware design to easily adopt future radio modules. This multi-radio connectivity capability enables a flexible connectivity mechanism driving a plethora of use cases across various segments of IoT. Standard IoT application layer protocols such as MQTT and CoAP for northbound communication are also supported. NFC capabilities allow for quick and easy commissioning of end devices while also providing advanced hardware-enabled security.
