Highlights from NXP FTF 2016

150 150 VOLANSYS

VOLANSYS along with NXP had an awesome experience at the NXP FTF Technology Forum in Austin, Texas, last week – on May 16-19.

As a whole, FTF has become the most trending IoT event for engineers to get training, discussing on technical challenges and opportunities faced by the emerging new markets, latest trends in embedded technologies and innovative IoT solutions. In this event, the most focused industries were autonomous vehicles, smart buildings and cities, consumer applications, wearables, healthcare, industrial automation and security across all the applications.

Formerly, FTF was known as Freescale Technology Forum (FTF), after the NXP-Freescale merger, the conference was renamed as the NXP FTF Tech Forum.

As a NXP’s Partner, our EVP Sales & Founder – Bhavin Shah, CTO – Dhruvesh Patel and Program Manager – Harikrushna Sheth attended NXP FTF event to demonstrate & launch our IoT Gateway Reference Design – “NXP Modular Gateway/Border Router – Running the Thread networking protocol” which is Powered by NXP and Designed by VOLANSYS Technologies.

Few major highlights include –

  • Reference design – NXP’s i.MX 6UL SOM & Kinetis KW22D512 MCU module – designed and built in 6 weeks
  • More than 200 people visited our demo
  • Smallest KW24 MCU module in KW series portfolio
  • In NXP’s session on the Thread networking protocol, our reference design was announced as an off-the-shelf border router design and all session attendees visited the booth
  • We had lots of inquiries about production, pricing, availability, support, etc.

Huge round of applause for Engineering Team who designed & developed such a nice product.

Kudos to Sales Team who got chance to represent our product in NXP event.

Once again, a Great Achievement for all of us.
