Overview

VOLANSYS’ Modular Edge Node Platform (MENP) is an advanced, powerful and multi-module (Thread, Zigbee®, BLE) RF compatible end node, with mikroBUS standard compliant headers. It supports various hardware modules like VOLANSYS’ KW41Z Thread/BLE Module, NXP JN5169 Zigbee® module, NXP JN5179 Zigbee® module and mikroBUS standard modules through the mikroBUS header. The Modular Edge Node Platform is targeted for multiple use cases in various IoT segments such as Smart Homes and Buildings, and Industry specific IoT by connecting and communicating with VOLANSYS’ Modular IoT Gateway. It can be integrated with all MikroElektronika click boards. This ready-to-use development board helps build Thread/Zigbee®/BLE based end device prototypes with faster time to market.
